Our story, the Ingram's story, began in 1990 with the sincere desire to make the Alaskan experience available to you, whoever you are and wherever you live. • Kenmore Air Seaplanes - Kenmore Air was founded in 1946 by three high school friends, reunited after World War II. With one airplane, and a single hangar near a swamp at the North end of Lake Washington, Bob Munro, Reg Collins, and Jack Mines gave birth to what was to become the largest and most respected seaplane airline in the world.

• Kenora Air Service - Kenora Air Service Ltd., formerly OCA and Parsons’ Airways, has a long and rich history in the annals of Canadian bush plane aviation. • Martin Mars Water Bombers - Firefighting certainly wasn't what Glenn L. Martin had in mind for the design of the Martin Mars. Originally conceived as a bomber for long range missions and patrols, the production aircraft were redesigned and classified for long-range general transport because of the demonstrated heavy-lift capability of the prototype. The "Big Four", as they were affectionately known, established airlift and endurance records which remain valid today and they logged some 87,000 accident-free hours before being retired by the USN and sold to Flying Tankers. Mr. Martin would be very pleased to know his original intention of the Mars in a bomber role came to pass in their second career as waterbombers!

• Mission Creek Lodge - Mission Lodge is located on the shores of Lake Aleknagik in the heart of the world famous Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska. • NW Seaplanes - Flights - Seattle, San Juan Islands, Vancouver Island - Clyde Carlson, owner and founder, started Northwest Seaplanes in 1988 providing exclusive service with two Dehavilland Beavers to Hakai Lodge which is located 70 miles north of Vancouver Island. Providing seaplane service to Hakai Lodge was not Clyde's first adventure in aviation. Clyde started his seaplane career thanks to the GI Bill in 1968. Due to insurance costs, all instruction is dual and there is no solo in this aircraft. • Ten-ee-ah Aviation - Ten-ee-ah Aviation is located on beautiful Spout Lake, an ideal place for seaplane flying. • Turtle Airways Ltd. - Fiji Islands Floatplane Service - Turtle Airways was founded by Richard Evanson in 1979, partly to transport crew and material for the 1980 film, the "Blue Lagoon." The popular movie, starring Brooke Shields, was filmed on Evanson's privately-owned Turtle Island, an award-winning five-star resort located in the Yasawa Islands. The short, scenic and convenient flight to the island is just 30 minutes by air from Fiji's international airport in Nadi, compared to up to nine hours by boat. (Despite the similarity in names, Turtle Airways and Turtle Island are separate companies and serve different, although complementary, needs.) In 1982, Evanson sold 75% of Turtle Airways to South Seas Cruises, in exchange for 25% of the cruise company. In 1998, however, South Seas Cruises was sold to Fullers, a large publicly-traded transport company based in New Zealand. This event gave Evanson, an American multimillionaire expatriate now known for his tourism and philanthropic activities in Fiji, an opportunity and incentive to resume total ownership of the Fiji-based airline. He repurchased Turtle Airways in July, 1998. • Viking Outposts - Red Lake, Ontario - Our base is located on the shore of Howey Bay in Red Lake, Ontario. Red Lake has been a floatplane hub since the gold rush began in the 1920’s. It is still the end of the paved road north and the best location to begin a remote fly-in fishing trip. Hugh and Craig have held pilot licenses since 1975 and they are proud of their working aircraft. John Blaszczyk is our Norseman pilot. He worked across the bay as a float plane mechanic for 25 years and came to fly for us to fulfill his dream of flying his favourite aircraft, the Norseman. He knows all our aircraft inside out and treats them with care. Ron Gangloff is a lifetime Beaver pilot who runs the Lakeview Restaurant in town and flies for us because he loves to fly. • Zetterlind Zenair CH-701 Seaplane - N701ST was built by three gentlemen in upstate New York. Completed on wheels in 1994, it was set atop Zenair 950 amphibious floats when there were completed in 1997.
